Building intercom system
Wireless building intercoms connect the entrance panel to the resident's smartphone over a GSM, 3G or 4G cellular network, so visitors can call and be admitted without a fixed telephone line or Ethernet cable at the door. When a visitor presses the call button, the resident's phone rings as a standard call and the door can be released with a single key press from anywhere with mobile signal. RFID card reading is built in, allowing residents and authorised staff to enter by card without calling. Remote unlock through the phone app gives property managers and residents flexible access control without being on site. The wireless design suits apartment blocks, gated communities and commercial buildings where running new cabling to the entrance is not practical.
